"As a sonographer, my job is to look beneath the surface. During quiet moments in the scanning room, people talk. I began to notice a profound pattern — elderly patients whose deepest affliction was loneliness since losing a partner. Men who came in with physical tension, but were quietly drowning in depression. I realised that clinical medicine can treat the body, but it takes a community to heal the spirit."

Men's Mental Wellbeing Programme

Help host and facilitate our weekly men's evening or weekend circles. Manage the group dynamic, guide practical outdoor tasks, and create an atmosphere of zero judgment where men feel safe to speak when they're ready.

Time: 3 hours per week (evenings or Saturdays)  |  Perfect for: Empathetic men with strong boundaries and lived experience

🔒 Our Commitment to Safeguarding: All volunteers working with vulnerable adults undergo a fully funded enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and must provide two character references. Clear safeguarding and clinical governance protocols are in place to ensure all participants and volunteers feel safe and supported at all times.
